PanSALB TO HOST ISIXHOSA GRADE – 4 SPELLING COMPETITION
In celebrating the International Mother Language Day (IMLD) this year, the Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) Western Cape provincial office in conjunction with Iziko Museum of South Africa, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Western Cape Language Committee and the Western Cape Government will on Saturday, 25 February 2023, host the Grade-4 isiXhosa spelling competition at Garden Court, Nelson Mandela Boulevard in the Western Cape.
The competition is organized under the theme “Multilingual education a necessity to transform education” to improve the reading skills of learners, boost their confidence and to enhance their competitive skills.
The competition aims to promote linguistic diversity and multilingualism as an essential element for sustainable development.
MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE COMPETITION AS FOLLOWS:
