We concluded our two-day strategic planning session today, which was highly productive and insightful, organised by the Institutional Performance and Governance division. During the session, the Acting CEO, Mr Julius Dantile, emphasised that PanSALB will prioritise research initiatives aimed at promoting epistemic justice for the formerly marginalised languages in our country. This focus is crucial as it seeks to rectify historical imbalances and ensure that these languages receive the recognition and support they deserve.We also had the CFO, Mr Tebogo Matabane, outline the projected budget to fund the ambitious outputs detailed in our Annual Performance Plan for the fiscal year 2026/2027. This financial planning is essential for effectively implementing our strategies and achieving our goals.Interestingly, we took this opportunity to revise our vision statement, ensuring it reflects our commitment to the inclusivity of all South Africa's languages.
